Hi all! My name is Shirley. I started my dog career in 2016 when I was a less than knowledgeable 20 year old who brought home a German Shepherd puppy, Oliver. I was in over my head and hired a local trainer, who ultimately gave me a chance to learn to dog train. Over the next almost 9 years, I poured blood, sweat and tears into learning the ins and outs of dogs, their behavior, and everything in between. I’ve worked more dog breeds than I can count, but primarily German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois’. I devoted any free time I had to rescuing them as well. This was all in Florida. I took a pause when we were blessed with our children. My husband, Mark, is a combat veteran and was also a TEDD dog handler in the Army. Today, we have three pups. Oliver, Murphy and Tazzy. We moved to Thibodaux in August and my soul has been longing to go back to dogs. So here we are! A spur of a moment decision and Oliver & Co. was born!

We offer a variety of services, cater to every breed, skill set and strive to be as affordable as possible. We take a balanced approach, and form a plan based on each individual dog. There is no “one size fits all” here. You are part of the plan, every step of the way. You get more than a dog trainer with me! I am here to support you every step of the way in your journey.
